This plant contains a large amount of tannins, organic acids and mineral salts. It has a soothing antiseptic effect, anti-inflammatory and therefore it is used as an ingredient in massage creams and masks for oily and acne-prone skin.
Fluid that brightens the skin under the eyes: 2 Boil teaspoons of dried mint through 20 minutes in 1/2 l of water, and after cooling, strain it through a paper coffee filter. Soak sterile gauze pads in the prepared broth and make a compress for the eyes.
