Efforts put into washing and ironing will not be wasted, if you keep your garments properly. Then the clothes will not wrinkle and will always be ready to put on.
You should have your wardrobe inspected and disposed of every few months, from which it "grew out of”, unpopular or worn. If you haven't put on something in the last two years, you will probably not reach for it for the next year. The wardrobe is not made of rubber, and clothes should not be crowded in it.
You should organize the storage of clothes in wardrobes like this, to:
■ Do not mix outer garments and these on the same hanger, which you put directly on the skin. Coats, jackets, overcoats and jackets, where you go out on the street, should hang separately (do not put clothes in the wardrobe immediately after returning home, Also, don't forget to brush them frequently!). Personally, on other hangers, preferably in a different part of the wardrobe, blouses should be present, dresses and skirts.
■ Do not put freshly ironed linen on the shelf, still hot. Let it sit for a dozen or so minutes and let it cool down, otherwise, steam from hot fabrics will settle in the wardrobe.
■ Individually, preferably on separate hangers, hang men's shirts. When we don't have enough space in the wardrobe, let's find the biggest shelves for them (they must be loose), on which we will put them folded.
■ Use appropriate hangers for the type of garment: hang trousers in the tongs” holding the bottom of the leg, skirts on hooks, the size of the straps should be adjusted to the size of the wardrobe, so as not to deform or squeeze clothes.
■ Reattach any broken hangers immediately – skirts loops, blouses and dresses without straps. Each such thing can be "emergency."” put into the wardrobe without a hanger, but it will deform easily and ironing it will be very laborious.
■ Regularly inspect wardrobes and immediately repair any damage to clothing. You never know, how urgently a skirt will be needed, in which the strip or blouse has just ripped off, from which the button has just fallen off. Not to mention that, that a torn button will easily get lost somewhere and then you will have to replace the whole set.
■ Take care of it, to be nice in the wardrobe (but not too intense!) it smelled. So you have to wash systematically, clean and ventilate the garment, and on the shelves it is best to place sachets with fragrant herbs. Failure to do so may result, that an unpleasant smell will blow on the person opening the wardrobe. Getting rid of it can be a lot of trouble.
Caution, mole! In addition to traditional mothballs, there are many anti-moth preparations: aerosol agents, which we spray in wardrobes, pendants and plates, herbal sachets as well as means to spread on shelves or put into jackets or wool and fur coats pockets. Special sheets of anti-moth paper can also be used on the storage spaces. All preparations protect the wardrobe for approx. 6 months. Detailed information on their use can be found on the packaging. The popular plant swamp is under protection and its sale is punishable by law.
