In youth, dry skin has only advantages: it is delicate and fresh. She is not bothered by seborrhea and acne. Unfortunately, such skin ages very quickly and after 30. It requires careful care and good protection.
There are two types of dry skin: first – when the skin lacks moisture Gesture is a reversible process) and the second – when her sebaceous glands don't produce enough lipids (fats). Women with dry complexion are at risk of a much earlier appearance of wrinkles and problems with broken capillaries.
How to recognize a dry complexion
She is very delicate, thin and prone to irritation. It often peels off and sheds painfully. It is unpleasantly "pulls" during the day (then we feel the need to put cream on our face as soon as possible). On dry skin, expression lines are more visible. In the morning, she is often crushed from the pillow.
What harms her
It is sensitive to the weather in both summer, and in winter. It is damaged by intense sun, frost and wind, as well as the lack of moisture in the air. Rapid temperature changes are unfavorable for it. It is terrible to washing with chlorinated water and soap. You cannot use special gels such as "soap without soap" for too long ( it is best to wash the skin with milk). You should also refrain from using alcohol tonics and coarse-grained peels (this type of epidermis rebuilds much longer).
How to help her
Regardless of age, the most important thing is to moisturize intensively "from the inside" (you should drink approx. 2 liters of non-carbonated mineral water). A light diet rich in vitamins and microelements is very important (Vitamins B are the most important for dry skin, C, F i A). It is necessary to include dairy products and vegetable fats in the daily diet (fish fat is also important – tran) and like more fresh vegetables and fruits.
How to care for dry skin
Moisturizing lotions and creams with plant extracts are the best for removing make-up and cleansing the skin, having a delicate, hypoallergenic formula (dry skin is often sensitive to fragrances and preservatives), e.g.. firmy Inter-Fragrances. After carefully removing your face make-up, wipe the skin with a mild alcohol-free tonic (will restore its neutral pH, and also perfectly moisturize it). Only then can the appropriate moisturizing cream be applied, and a nourishing cream with vitamins for the night. Appropriate regenerating cosmetics are essential for older skin, e.g.. serum. For day care, creams with ceramides are recommended (fatty substances that protect the skin against rubbed off moisture and bind epidermal cells). For mature skin, preparations containing collagen and vitamin E are also important. Dry skin, regardless of age, will be grateful for an additional portion of moisture in the form of moisturizing masks (e.g.. from crushed grape fruit, grated apples). Ready-made moisturizing masks are also effective, e.g.. by Oriflame, Vichy, Dermika.
Ladies with dry skin should also intensely moisturize the skin of the whole body, e.g.. lotion or baby oil. For the evening bath, we recommend greasing oils, e.g.. of Fenjal, E45 (Boots International).
It is also worth making a moisturizing bath with the addition of starch in the grandma's way (10 mix tablespoons of potato flour in a small amount of cold water, then pour it into a liter of boiling water, stirring constantly, add to the bath). Dry skin is greased before taking a bath, e.g.. sunflower oil (also moisturizes!).
Don't forget to visit a beautician! From time to time, dry skin needs cleansing and a gentle peeling. In a beauty salon, you can apply special moisturizing masks with sea algae or collagen to your skin.
