Outside, frost and wind. Dry in the apartment, warm air. Neither our skin likes it, nor hair. So that they stay healthy and beautiful, we propose several practical methods of winter care.
Because the skin now needs careful care, you can safely use your nourishing or fat night cream also during the day. It will provide the skin with more active and protective ingredients, will protect against the cold, and also permanently moisturize it.
The skin of the hands is now particularly often reddened and chapped. Brush your hands with a vitamin-rich hand cream after each wash (e.g.. „Soraya”, „Freeman”). Also, don't forget to rub a little cream into the nail plates and the skin around them.
Mild face tonic, containing herbal extracts (e.g.. "Pollena Eva"), is the best end to an evening facial cleansing. Removes makeup and cream residues, what remains after washing the face with milk, soothes skin irritated by frosty air.
Warm clothes and heated rooms make, that we sweat more. It's best to use a mild deodorant without preservatives, with slightly oily substances (e.g.. „Fa”, „8×4”). Recommended especially for sensitive skin.
When the skin feels very dry, it is worth using a ready-made moisturizing mask on a regular basis. Or you can simply apply a thick layer of moisturizing cream to the cleansed face, which you usually use, and leave it on 20 minutes. Remove excess with a tissue.
Emulsions and gels cleanse the face skin very gently and thoroughly, which we spread on wet skin, and then gently wash it off with water (e.g.. „Nivea”, „Freeman”). They will successfully replace the best soap!
When the air is dry and frosty, hair becomes static more easily. So it's a good idea to dilute a little styling fluid with lukewarm water and moisten the comb with this solution before styling..
Body massage with care oil brings a double benefit: connective tissue is strengthened, and vitamins, eucerite and lecithin make, that the skin becomes smooth and delicate.
The ends of the hair are now porous and split faster. You can fortify them with burdock root oil („Nivea”). We massage it into the ends of the hair regularly twice a week.
The lips are particularly exposed to the cold, wind and sun. They have almost no sebaceous glands and are unable to produce a protective pigment. Special care sticks with a UV filter (e.g.. "Labello") protect lips against drying out and painful cracking of the epidermis.
